Make money while travelling

In this short blog post, I’ll give two ways in which you can make money travelling. Travelling in this case doesn’t exactly mean going to another country,  though maybe you’re lucky.

I’m pretty sure everyone wants to travel and wants all expenses paid. Hate to break it to you, there will always be costs involved. Lucky for you, it doesn’t need to be that much.

We have to admit, we like free things but free things aren’t always “free”. If you have a extra few bucks (putting it lightly) to spare, use it to build experiences and not debt.

The ways I’ll be talking about is House sitting and Pet sitting. It kind of goes hand in hand but you’ll get the picture.

When people travel they need people either to look after their children, property or pets. In some cases all of the above. They need someone reliable, honest and responsible. If you feel, you have these qualities then keep reading (Don’t worry, I won’t drag out this post)

You’ll sign-up on the website (registration fee about $50 for the year) and then look for your match. The name of the website is Housecarers. Go to the Browse Houses To Sit section and find your match.

According to Ziprecruiter, the average House Sitter salary is about $70 166 a year. That’s about $5800 a month, if you’re lucky with getting Sitting jobs.

Just a reminder, don’t have high expectations of mansions or villas. Some people like simpler homes that feels like home to them. The plus side is getting paid to travel and still score accommodation. With the money you make you can tour around the city or country.
